City Improvisations

This group project was a collaboration with Leon Spek, Julia Casianova and Nanda Mibreta, and was commissioned by Peter van Bergen from Studio LOOS. It was part of the Dag in de Branding Edition 08 festival in The Hague. The participants were riding bicycles equipped with electronics and headphones. During the guided bike ride a composition was played through the headphones, transformed and influenced by the distance between the bikes, the quality of the road (e.g. bricks or asphalt), and the environment light.
